Louis Poulsen PH Artichoke Limited Edition Pendant

To mark the 150th anniversary of Louis Poulsen, the brand has created a limited edition variation of the PH Artichoke design with pale rose hues and brass detailing. The Artichoke light was originally designed in 1958 by Poul Henningsen for the Langelinie Pavillonen restaurant in Copenhagen. It is now one of the most iconic lights worldwide, the Louis Poulsen PH Artichoke pendant purposefully provides 100% glare-free light from every angle. The 150th Limited Edition Artichoke has limited stock, with only 300 of each size being made.

The light source is hidden by the 72 precisely positioned ‘leaves’ which hang in 12 rows. The leaves of each Artichoke light are still finished by hand in Louis Poulsen’s factory in Denmark, before being individually checked and hand-assembled onto the structure of the light. Each Louis Poulsen PH Artichoke Limited Edition Pendant will be engraved on the white side of one of the leaves and given an individual number from 1-300. The packaging will also contain a certificate, that has the individual engraved number hand-written.

Each Louis Poulsen Artichoke Anniversary Edition includes a copy of the new Louis Poulsen book, First House of Light. The book will be published by Phaidon in July 2024. Information on how to redeem this gift is included in the packing of each pendant.
