ORDERS

How do I know if an item is in stock?

Once you have selected or configured the item you are interested in purchasing, an “In stock” green message will appear above the price. For in stock items, next day delivery is available (if purchased before midday) which is also indicated below the price.

For items not currently in stock in our warehouse, an “Available to order” message appears. You can still add to your basket and complete your order, and we will contact you within 3 working days regarding estimated lead times from our supplies and delivery. If you are not wanting to wait, we will fully refund your order. If you are interested in a particular product, you can contact us regarding an approximate lead time, prior to ordering.


What is the lead time of the item in which I’m interested?

The lead times for items that are not in stock but are available to order varies per brand, product and specific product colour/option. If an item isn’t in stock, then we will state that it is 'available to order' on the product page. You can still add it to your basket and purchase it. We will contact you within 3 working days of purchase of non-stock items to provide you with an approximate lead time for delivery.


Alternatively, you can contact us prior to ordering to find out the approximate lead time for that particular product option. If the lead time is not specified on the website, please contact us to confirm.


DISCOUNTS


How do I use a discount code?

We will occasionally offer our customers a promotional offer, with a discount code. You can use this code on the basket page, under your order summary. If the code is applicable to the items in your basket, a discount will be applied to those items.

Limitations:

  • Discount codes cannot be used in conjunction with other offers
  • Only one code can be used per order. The highest discount takes precedence.
  • Discount is applicable on participating brands only; brands are subject to change without notice.
  • Discount not applicable on clearance items.

Make sure to add your voucher code when checking out, as you will not be able to do so after completing your order.

How much does delivery cost?

Please see below for a breakdown of our delivery charges (including VAT).


All charges below apply exclusively for delivery to Mainland UK and for deliveries Monday to Saturday. For overseas areas, a member of our Sales Team will contact you with a delivery quote. If you do not wish to accept the shipping cost you will be fully refunded.

Please note:

  • Our delivery service does not include unpacking or on-site assembly.
  • All deliveries involving oversized/heavy lighting or furniture are kerbside deliveries.
  • Delivery charges (including premium and small orders) are non-refundable.
  • Some items may incur surcharges due to their size or weight.
  • We reserve the right to request additional delivery charges to remote areas.
  • If you require special delivery, please contact us to discuss your options and pricing information.


Premium Saturday delivery

We offer Saturday delivery for lighting and accessories to addresses in Mainland UK. A £35.00 (inc.VAT) charge is added to your order if you select Saturday delivery at checkout. Furniture and selected oversized lighting are not eligible for Saturday delivery as standard, but should you require one please contact us and we can make suitable arrangements, though a delivery charge will incur.

Orders with both lighting or accessories and oversized or furniture items will be dispatched separately.


Items that are listed on our website but aren’t available to buy directly online, require a quotation from a member of our Sales Team. These items may be subject to a delivery charge. This will be included in your quotation for these products. Delivery will be calculated based on the weight and dimensions of the boxed items as well as the delivery address.



How long will my order take to be delivered to me?

While we hold various items in stock, you can appreciate that we won’t have everything in our warehouse. Items that are in stock, are available for next-day delivery if you complete your order before midday or select a suitable date for delivery. For items that we need to order in for you, we will contact you within 3 working days with an estimated lead time. If you do not wish to wait, we will issue a full refund to you.

Next-day delivery can't be guaranteed. If our couriers are not able to deliver the next day they will attempt delivery the next working day.


Delivery to certain remote area postcodes is on a 2-day service and is not eligible for next-day delivery. For more information on specific post-codes, please contact us.


If you would like to query about a particular item, prior to placing an order, please contact us and we can provide you with estimated lead times from our suppliers.


For orders with multiple items, you can select at checkout whether to have these delivered in full or if you are happy for us to send them out to you as they arrive in our warehouse. Items that are in stock can be dispatched for next-day delivery if ordered before midday.


Please note: We advise you to not book any tradespeople for fitting and installation on-site, before receiving goods from us. While we do our best to deliver to you on time, on some rare occasions items may take longer to arrive from our suppliers. We also work with third-party couriers, after they have collected from our warehouse, we can’t be held liable for delivery on time.



Can I collect my order?

We are proud to offer our customers a FREE collection service from our Warehouse, in Sheffield. If an item is in stock in our Warehouse, we will contact you when it is ready for collection (usually from 12pm the next working day). If you wish to arrange a specific time to collect, please contact us prior to your visit.

For items not in stock, we will order the items in for you and we will contact you with an estimated lead time and again when the item has reached our warehouse to arrange a suitable collection time.


Please note, collection is available during opening hours, Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm (Excluding Bank Holidays) and select Saturdays.

Which courier do you use?

Our main couriers are DPD and DHL. DPD and DHL offer a 1-hour delivery window and options for hassle-free delivery. In some cases, we may need to use a different courier for oversized and larger items, but you will be contacted if that is the case. For international orders, the courier will be confirmed to you later on.


Will the courier give me a specific time for the delivery?

Yes, DPD and DHL will offer a 1 hour delivery time. On the day of delivery, DPD or DHL will contact you via text or email to notify you of your 1-hour time slot. Please note, that we have no control over the time slot which DPD or DHL will provide you. Other couriers may not provide a 1-hour time slot.


Can I choose my delivery time?

While our standard free-of-charge delivery does not offer the option to select a delivery time, there are other delivery options to choose from. Pre-12pm or pre-10:30am Monday to Saturday are available at an additional charge. Please contact us to discuss these options and make suitable arrangements for your order.


Can I get proof of delivery?

If you have received tracking information by text or email, you can access your proof of delivery by following the given link. Otherwise, please contact us and we can look into this for you.




INTERNATIONAL


Do you deliver internationally?

We can deliver to a range of different overseas countries. If you’re placing your order via our website, add your item to the basket and follow the checkout procedure. When you enter your delivery address, there is a list of countries to choose from that we can deliver to. If you don’t see your country on the list, please contact us to discuss whether we can ship to your country. In most cases, there is a shipping charge for delivery to overseas countries.

We offer free shipping on selected items to some European countries. This will be indicated on the product page of qualifying products.

Please visit our Export and Overseas Shipping page for more information regarding overseas deliveries and international orders. If you require further information on importation regulations, please contact your local customs office.


Will I pay VAT on my order if it is delivered to a non-UK country?

No, if your items are being delivered outside the UK, we will not charge VAT on your order.

The prices displayed on our website include UK VAT at 20% but if you order through our website, VAT will be automatically removed at checkout when you select an overseas country. However, you may have customs charges and VAT to pay upon receipt of the items in the country to which it’s being delivered. We recommend that customers research this prior to ordering.


How is Brexit impacting deliveries?

Brexit has had an impact on lead times, but it is brand-specific and improving monthly. Please contact us to find out if a brand is affected. You can also visit our Brexit page for further information.
