Artek

Artek was established in 1935 in Helsinki to sell furniture and promote a modern living culture through exhibitions. Today, Artek’s range consists of design classics by Finnish masters such as Artek founder Alvar Aalto and Ilmari Tapiovaara alongside recent additions from leading contemporary designers. The collection includes furniture, lighting, textiles and small accessories. Combining modern production methods with expert handcraftsmanship, Artek furniture is manufactured in keeping with the original vision of Alvar Aalto. Most Artek products are made in Turku, Finland, where Artek furniture has been manufactured since the beginning.
