&Tradition Flowerpot VP1 Anniversary Edition Pewter Pendant Light

The &Tradition Flowerpot VP1 Anniversary Edition Pewter Pendant Light brings a raw stainless steel finish to Verner Panton's original 1968 Flowerpot design. The familiar pair of opposing hemispherical shades remains unchanged, but the Pewter edition replaces the collection's usual painted or plated surfaces with exposed metal. The shades are deep-drawn from stainless steel, then tumbled and polished to produce the finished surface.

As with the original VP1, the smaller lower shade sits inside the larger upper shade and conceals the light source, producing the soft, glare-free illumination associated with the Flowerpot collection. The Pewter finish gives the familiar shape a different character to the coloured versions and works particularly well where metal finishes already feature elsewhere in the room. A laser-engraved Verner Panton signature inside the shade provides a detail specific to this Anniversary Edition.

The pendant is supplied with a black textile cable and canopy and can be dimmed through a compatible mains phase dimming system. Used individually, it works well above a small dining table or side table, while several can be repeated over a longer dining table or kitchen surface. Most suited to kitchens, dining rooms, living spaces, and hospitality interiors where the original Flowerpot form is wanted in an unpainted metal finish.
