Flowerpot VP3 by &Tradition
Designed by the legendary Verner Panton, the Flowerpot VP3 was the first of two
table lamp variants to be introduced to the Flowerpot range in 1969.
Where the original Flowerpot
pendants consist simply of two metal hemispheres, one twice the size of the other, which serve as diffusers for a concealed light source, the Flowerpot VP3 adds a third, the same size as the smaller hemisphere but inverted to be used as a base. This allows it to stand freely on a desk or coffee table, to be used as a task light or simply to create an intimate atmosphere in a reading nook or bedroom.
The Flowerpot collection also includes three pendants – the
VP1,
VP2, and
VP7 – and another, more distinct table lamp, the
VP4.
