HAY Nelson Saucer Bubble Pendant

Nelson created the modernist design after attempting to source some silk-covered Swedish lamps for his office. He found that these lamps were too expensive, making them unobtainable for many people. This inspired him to create a more affordable lighting solution, crafted from polymer webbing used by the U.S. military.

Despite its large form, the HAY Nelson Saucer Bubble Pendant appears lightweight and versatile, creating the illusion of floating in midair.
