HAY Nelson Angled Sphere Bubble Pendant
Designed by George Nelson in 1947, the Nelson Angled Sphere Bubble Pendant brings a subtly different profile to the classic
Bubble Collection, with gently sloping angles that give the silhouette a softer, more architectural feel. Like the rest of the series, the shade is formed around a lightweight internal frame and finished in a translucent webbing polymer, producing a warm, diffused light that feels calm and glare free. Off white in colour, it reads as clean and simple by day, then becomes softly luminous when lit.
Available in three sizes, the Angled Sphere works well as a single pendant over a dining table, coffee table or stairwell void, and can also be used in clusters to build a consistent rhythm across larger interiors. With a 300cm cable, it is well suited to spaces with higher ceilings, and it pairs naturally with other Nelson Bubble shapes if you are mixing silhouettes within the same scheme. It uses a replaceable E27 LED bulb, and can be dimmed with a suitable wall dimmer.
