Tom Dixon Melt Fat Cone Table Lamp

The Tom Dixon Melt Fat Cone Table Lamp is a distinctive lighting design, echoing the silhouette of the Melt Portable with its conical base, but featuring a cable with an in-line dimmer that allows you to adjust the intensity of the illumination. The abstract shade of the Fat Cone Melt is crafted through a process of blow moulding and vacuum metallisation, resulting in a lamp that resembles molten glass and produces a mesmerising lighting effect. When switched off, the shade appears mirrored, but once illuminated, it reflects the light to produce a glowing, melting effect.

This LED Table Lamp is available in a selection of metallic and opal finishes, including Smoke, Copper, Gold, Bronze, Nickel and Opal. The Melt Fat Cone Table Lamp is well suited to living rooms, dining spaces and bedrooms, where it can create a warm ambient glow. It can also be used in groups across larger commercial interiors such as restaurants, hotels and bars.

In celebration of the Melt's ten-year anniversary, Tom Dixon introduced a Bronze variant of the iconic shade. For 2026, the collection has been expanded further with a new Nickel finish, offering a cooler metallic alternative within the Melt palette.
