The Tom Dixon Cone Slim Floor Lamp is a minimal lighting solution comprising the iconic [**Tom Dixon Melt**](https://www.davidvillagelighting.co.uk/productfamily/Tom-Dixon-Melt/1581) shade, perched atop a slender structure and supported by a conical base. The Melt Cone Floor Lamp is created through the process of blow moulding and vacuum metallisation, utilising high-quality craftsmanship to compose a distinctive and mesmerising shade. When switched off, the shade appears as a highly reflective metallic orb. Once illuminated, the head of the floor lamp takes on the appearance of molten glass. Since its creation, this sleek floor lamp has evolved to include an Opal version, which resembles a pearl rather than producing the usual molten effect. This rendition also emits a higher luminosity and is well suited to more minimal interiors.

The Melt Cone Slim LED Floor Lamp is dramatic yet unobtrusive, creating a strong visual presence without taking up too much space. Its slender frame allows the Melt shade to remain the main attraction, while the range of metallic and opal finishes allows the design to adapt to a variety of modern interiors. Tom Dixon introduced the Bronze variant in celebration of Melt's tenth anniversary, adding a more muted metallic option to the collection. For 2026, the range has been expanded further with a new Nickel finish, offering a cooler metallic alternative alongside the existing colourways.

Please Note: Although the Tom Dixon Melt Cone Slim LED Floor Lamp appears to have no wires in the imagery, it is fitted with a 250cm cable and plug.
