Slamp

Slamp is an Italian lighting manufacturer that devotes itself to decorative designer lamps which capture the most current trends, drawing on the natural world. They do this thanks to the use of a new generation of materials and special manual assembly of parts that, once put together, give life to a luxurious, figurative panorama. The result is a catalogue of unique luminous objects, which are both suggestive and versatile, able to be used in a range of contemporary interiors.

The company was founded by Roberto Ziliani in 1994, who turned the concept of a lamp simply being a heavy static object around. He created 'Tube', an unbreakable yet weightless totem, playing on artistic pop elements. Since then, Slamp has gone on to collaborate with numerous iconic designers and architects to create creative and immersive lighting solutions. They even utilise their own patented materials such as Lentiflex® and Opalflex®, with a particular emphasis on their flexibility, unbreakability, and heat resistance. Slamp also understand the importance of sustainability. Their durable technopolymers are not only thermically, chemically and electrically optimised, but they also undergo low-impact cold cutting to lower CO2 emissions, and all excess cuttings are recycled and transformed into new objects.

Every lamp created by Slamp is unique and handcrafted in their Italy-based atelier. They create decorative lighting solutions and draw their inspiration from nature and natural elements.
