&Tradition Topan

The Topan Collection was created by Verner Panton in 1959. Originally, Panton designed the Topan VP6 Pendant, which was his second ever design and first mass-produced lamp. In 1962, the pendant was reimagined as a table and floor lamp when Danish designer Nanna Ditzel required an unconventional lamp for her exhibition. Now, for the first time in decades, &Tradition and Verner Panton Design AG have reissued the Topan Table and Floor Lamp. These new editions bring a new perspective to the distinctive shade, which is now transformed into a free-standing lamp. A clear acrylic tube houses the globe-shaped shade, creating an appearance of levity.

All the pieces within the Topan Collection are available in Vermillion Red, Chrome-Plated, and Grey Beige, with the Topan VP6 Pendant also available in a Matt Black finish. The spherical shade guides light into a bright and functional lighting, perfect for working or reading. On the Topan Table and Floor Lamp, the shade sits freely on the cylindrical base, allowing users to direct light exactly where needed. Install the Topan Collection in rooms that require bright lighting, such as an office, living room, or kitchen. The bold, vibrant colours and minimalistic profile make the Topan Collection an ideal lighting solution for contemporary interiors, both residential and commercial.
