Slamp Veli

The Veli Collection was created by Adriano Rachele for lighting brand Slamp. Rachele believes that design should express poetry and portray soul and emotion. The Veli Collection beautifully captures this philosophy. Each piece, inspired by folds and pleats seen in the high fashion world, features handcrafted elements that expertly blend form and function. The Veli Collection won the Red Dot Award in 2012, helping Adriano Rachele become recognised as one of the top young talents in Italian design.

The Veli Collection includes a pendant, mini pendant, wall/ ceiling light, and 7 suspension. Their folded forms are made of Opalflex®, the first material ever used by Slamp, chosen for its flexibility, durability, and resistance to heat. Opalflex® allows light to be diffused evenly, causing a mesmerising play of light and shadows when the luminaire is in use. The organic curves throughout the shade create a glamorous display that adds a decorative element to any room. To create a neutral white effect when lit, it’s recommended to use a 3000K bulb. Alternatively, use a 2700K bulb for a softer, amber glow.
