Product Description

Northern Birdy Short Wall Light


The Birdy Short Wall Light was designed in 1952 by renowned Nordic designer Bigger Dahl. Dahl used geometric shapes and an uncluttered profile to create a collection that blends in with contemporary interiors to this day. The modernistic collection was originally produced by the Norwegian electricity company Sønnico before being reintroduced by Northern in 2013. As well as the short wall light, the Birdy Collection includes a floor lamp, table lamp and swing wall light.

The shade of the wall light sits on a rotating axis, allowing you to direct the lighting to where it is required. The conical shade creates directional light, which is perfect for installing above a desk or coffee table for task lighting to read and work by.

Please Note: The Birdy Wall Light comes with a cable and plug as standard, so it must be installed near a socket. The light can be hardwired by a qualified electrician and is supplied with a semi-transparent cover piece for the wire hole.
