The Northern Birdy Floor Lamp was designed by renowned designer Birger Dahl in 1952. The series, which also includes a table lamp, short wall light, and swing wall light, was originally produced by the Norwegian electricity company Sønnico. In 2013 Northern Lighting re-released the collection, allowing it to be available once more to interiors around the world. The modernist style of the Birdy means that despite its extensive history, it fits in with contemporary interiors today.
The Birdy Floor Lamp is available in a black, grey, white, and black/brass finish. The muted tones and minimalistic style make it a perfect lighting solution for both commercial and residential settings, blending in with a range of styles and decors. Due to its adjustable head, the Birdy Floor Lamp is ideal for functional lighting in an office or living room. The directional lighting for the shade creates bright task lighting for reading or working under. Display on its own or with other pieces from the Birdy Collection to create a consistent modernistic theme throughout your home.
