Each frame is set on fire before being treated in a thick epoxy resin to maintain its structural integrity and enchanting texture. The seating is coated in a flame-retardant foam before being covered in deep black leather.

Since its creation, the Smoke Collection has been displayed in museums worldwide, including the Victoria & Albert Museum (UK) and the Groninger Museum (Netherlands).
