Moooi Smoke Armchair

The Smoke Armchair was born from experimentation with fire. Designer Maarten Baas incorporates the element of surprise and curiosity to create a collection that revolves around the beauty of burnt wood. The Smoke Armchair is made from wood that has been set on fire. Once burned, the frame is treated with a thick layer of epoxy to keep the charred wood intact while maintaining structural integrity. The seats are then coated in a fire-retardant foam before being covered with deep black leather, fixed in place with matte black nails.

The Smoke Armchair adds beauty and character to any room, perfect for creating a grand impression in a dining room, lounge area, or entrance hall.
