Marset Pleat Box 36 Pendant Light

Marset Pleat Box 36 Pendant is a handcrafted ceramic pendant by Xavier Mañosa and Mashallah for Marset. The design is based on the idea of applying a digitally designed fabric crease to a ceramic form, giving the shade its folded upper edge and soft, draped shape. The result is a solid ceramic pendant that still has a sense of movement in its surface and silhouette.

The Pleat Box 36 is a good middle size in the range. It has enough scale for a dining table, kitchen island, counter, or seating area, without feeling as dominant as the 47. The inside of the ceramic shade is finished in either glossy white enamel or a 24-carat gold-plated finish. The white interior keeps the light clearer and brighter, while the gold version makes the shade feel warmer when the lamp is on.

This E14 version is supplied with a ceramic canopy in the same colour as the chosen shade and a black fabric cord. The lamp is excluded, so the final brightness and dimming performance will depend on the selected E14 LED lamp. Most suited to dining rooms, kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, restaurants, hotels, and interiors where a ceramic pendant can bring shape, colour, and softened downward light over a table, counter, or seating area.
