Marset Pleat Box

Marset Pleat Box Collection is a family of handcrafted ceramic pendant lights by Xavier Mañosa and Mashallah for Marset. First introduced in 2011, the design began with the idea of applying a digitally designed fabric crease to a ceramic form. This gives each shade its folded upper edge and soft, draped shape, bringing together a precise design process with the natural character of handmade ceramic.

The collection is available in four sizes, from the narrow Pleat Box 13 to the larger Pleat Box 47. Smaller sizes work well on their own in compact areas or repeated above counters, bars, and bedside spaces, while the larger pendants suit dining tables, kitchen islands, seating areas, and hospitality interiors where the ceramic shade can carry more presence. The range includes both integrated LED versions and lamp-based versions, depending on the size and product page.

Pleat Box is available in a range of exterior colours, including White, Grey, Terracotta, Black, Ocher, and Dark Green, with glossy white enamel or 24-carat gold-plated interiors depending on the variant. The white interior gives a cleaner and brighter effect, while the gold interior brings a warmer glow inside the shade. Most suited to dining rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, living rooms, restaurants, hotels, bars, and interiors where a ceramic pendant can add shape, colour, and softened light above a surface.
