HAY Pao Glass Table Light

The HAY Pao Glass Table Lamp was designed by Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa, who aimed to create a light that adds a calming 'homely' atmosphere to its surroundings. During a trip to Mongolia, Fukasawa was inspired by traditional nomadic Pao tents that illuminated at night. To achieve the serenity of the Pao tents, each lamp is crafted from mouth-blown opal glass, echoing their soft, glowing shape.

A custom LED is concealed within the shade for warm, glare-free lighting. The glass shade diffuses light into an even glow, perfect for adding a cosy ambience to bedrooms, living areas, and reading nooks. An inline dimmer allows users to easily adjust light intensity to suit any mood. The Pao’s unbroken visual identity allows it to blend seamlessly into residential and commercial settings alike.
