The Flos Wan Ceiling/Wall light, designed by Johanna Grawunder in 2005, is a compact, contemporary and directional lighting solution designed to be used in multiples to generate an even dispersion of light. The Wan Ceiling/Wall Light is named after the Japanese word for “bowl”, which is reflected in its curved profile and petite size. No matter where it is displayed, Wan adds a sophisticated touch to every interior.
With a body crafted from aluminium, the Flos Wan Ceiling/Wall Light is available in two colour finishes: white or black. It provides a focused, glare-free downlight thanks to the clever design of the diffuser, making it perfect for task lighting in a study or living room, or in a kitchen or dressing room as general lighting.
Johanna Grawunder is a designer and artist with a background in architecture. Grawunder knew she wanted to be an architect from the age of 8 and earned a degree in the subject from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Later on in her life, she decided to focus more on the world of design, leading to her founding her own studio and collaborating with a range of brands such as Flos.
