The Flos Wan Pendant is named after the Japanese word for “bowl”, which is reflected in the curved shape of the Wan pendant light. Providing a sophisticated and contemporary aesthetic to your interior, Johanna Grawunder designed the Wan pendant in 2006, with the aim of it being used in multiples, and with the rest of the Wan collection for general illumination.
Available in two colour finishes, black and white, the Flos Wan Pendant Light comes complete with a low glare shield, meaning it provides focused and direct downlighting, which remains glare-free. This pendant light works well used in multiples over a breakfast bar or dining table, or alternatively can be used singularly to highlight architectural features of a room or your favourite reading spot.
Johanna Grawunder is a designer and artist with a background in architecture. Grawunder knew she wanted to be an architect from the age of 8 and earned a degree in the subject from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Later on in her life, she decided to focus more on the world of design, leading to her founding her own studio and collaborating with a range of brands such as Flos.
