Artemide Calipso Linear Standalone LED Suspension

Designed by Neil Poulton, the Calipso Linear Suspension is characterised by a complex honeycomb grill that draws the eye and creates a geometric beauty. The honeycomb pattern was generated by a photo of the moon being fed into an image-based algorithm. The final result was created by combining tubes of varying sizes that are combined together into a circular silhouette, appearing to be randomly placed. The alluring pattern of the Artemide Calipso Standalone Suspension Light also serves a functional purpose as it provides an evenly spread illumination that is comfortable and inviting.

The Calipso Linear is perfect for both residential homes and professional settings. This luminaire is supplied in a minimalistic white colour finish, ensuring that the main focus of the design is the geometric form. The Artemide Calipso Linear is also available in two sizes, the Calipso 120 or Calispo 180, with the number referring to the length of the shade.
