Neil Poulton
Neil Poulton is a Scottish designer based in Paris, France. After studying Industrial Design at Napier University in Edinburgh, he then continued his education with a Design Master's in Milan. This taught him to enjoy the art of simplicity within his designs. This is clear within products such as the Talo LED wall light and the Talak Professional LED floor lamp. However, Neil Poulton's imagination and creative flair are demonstrated in complex designs such as the Calipso collection and Scopas LED suspension light.

Poulton is well known in the world of technology and has focused his knowledge and expertise on the Artemide group back in the early 1990s. This has resulted in some of the most popular products in the Artemide collection. Using integrated LED lights and app-compatible dimming systems, Neil Poulton has made his mark in the world of lighting with ease.

He worked with Phillipe Starck from 1991 to 1992. After his time with the iconic French designer, Poulton went on to found his own studio, Neil Poulton Industrial Design, in 1992. Here, he's designed a variety of highly successful designs for over 30 years. Poulton has been awarded an array of accolades, including sixteen Red Dot Design Awards and seven If Design Prizes.
