Foscarini is an Italian lighting manufacturer that was founded in 1981 on the island of Murano, Venice. Originally, their designs only utilised Murano glass, but over the years, they were able to adapt to changes, opening up to new materials, unusual shapes, and ideas. They are best known for their artistic lighting creations and boast an enviable reputation as one of Italy's foremost lighting manufacturers. The brand's aim has always been to create designer lamps capable of inspiring connections and harmonies within people, forming a catalogue of lighting objects designed for you to pick out to distinguish your setting, because the product says something about you. They continually challenge the limits of materials and concepts to make their own contribution to design history. Because of its fast development and growth, Foscarini moved to the mainland in 1994 and is now based in Marcon, near Venice.
