19 December 2025

2025 has been an exciting year for the David Village Lighting team, from multiple events and exhibitions to installing new showroom displays and even becoming an official distributor of an entire brand.

It's easy to get dragged into the pressure of a new year and throw ourselves into new goals and projects, and we wanted to take a moment to appreciate all of our wins and highlights of 2025!

Artemide Architectural La Linea

In 2025, David Village Lighting proudly became the official UK distributor for Artemide Architectural and Alphabet of Light. As we have been a contract Artemide distributor since 1981, we have many years of experience working with Artemide products, giving us the confidence to advise on the lighting design and supply of their products. New Brands at David Village Lighting

In 2025, we added a range of brands to our portfolio and our website. Explore some of our most recent additions!

TR-Logo.jpg

Founded in 2008, Tom Raffield is a Cornish-based design studio that creates unique and quality lighting and homeware inspired by nature. The studio believes in protecting the world around us and strives to leave the smallest ecological footprint possible. Each product is handcrafted with care, using the ancient craft of steam-bending to bend and twist wood beyond its apparent limits. This results in beautiful, sustainable pieces that are designed to bring a touch of nature into your home.

Serge-Mouille-Logo.jpg

Serge Mouille was founded in 1999 by Gin Mouille, widow of the late lighting designer Serge Mouille. The lighting brand honours the legacy of the renowned designer by utilising the same measurements and materials as the originals. The studio enlisted the help of Fred Barnley, one of Mouille’s students, to maintain the same philosophy that guided the design of the lamps. Serge Mouille’s designs are characterised by their angular, insect-like forms, inspired by the intricate details found in nature.

Anour-Logo.jpg

ANOUR are a Denmark-based design studio that handcrafts contemporary lighting with a strong focus on quality. Each piece is manufactured with care by expert craftsmen who have extensive experience working with metals, allowing for the exceptional quality that ANOUR is renowned for. ANOUR expertly blends traditional techniques with a contemporary approach to create timeless pieces designed to be enjoyed by generations.

J.Adams-Logo.jpg

J.Adams is a British lighting brand that believes that lighting is much more than a necessity, but the basis of ambience, style, and artistry in any space. J.Adams handles each step of the production process, from preliminary designs in their London-based studio to manufacturing in the Birmingham workshop. This hands-on approach gives them complete control over the quality of the final result. By manufacturing products in the UK, J.Adams can reduce their carbon footprint, aligning with their low-waste practices to limit their impact on the environment.

New Displays in our Showroom

Our showroom saw some new displays installed this year, as well as new standalone pieces added to the collection. Have a look through some of our new additions!

Tom Raffield

As well as becoming a new addition to our website this year, Tom Raffield now occupies a space in our showroom, allowing us to showcase the brand's sculptural pieces. The display perfectly represents the beauty of utilising steam-bent wood to create organic-looking pieces that add a touch of nature to any interior. The display includes the geometric formation of the Arame Wall Light and the seamless curves of the Neap Wall Light.

Euroluce

In April, a few members of the David Village Lighting team travelled to Milan, Italy, for Euroluce 2025. Starting in 1976, Euroluce is an event that attracts hundreds of lighting brands from across the globe to showcase their news and upcoming releases.

This year, Flos created an immersive installation, “The Light of the Mind”, which led their audience through their new lighting collections, as well as the conceptual journey behind them.

Artemide gave us some insight into some prototypes that they have been working on, and launched the Sinsetti Table Lamp, a revival design created in 1975 by Ernesto Gismondi.

Foscarini introduced us to their innovative and in some cases, experimental new designs, including reinventions of iconic products, in a revival of their vintage products. Recycled lava stone is skilfully utilised in their Eolie Collection, transforming the porous material into a sophisticated range of pendants.

Artemide Factory & Showroom Tour

Artemide invited us to their factory and showroom for a guided tour, which provided us with an in-depth understanding of the brand and the process that goes into their products. We were greeted at the Artemide factory, where we were welcomed in with lunch in the canteen amongst the rest of the team before our showroom tour began.

The following day, we took a tour of the testing facilities and the product development department, where we learnt how processes such as IP testing and stress testing are undertaken that ensure the high quality that Artemide are renowned for. Next, we visited the factory and warehouse to watch the production process and see how each product is assembled.

Artemide offered us a very hands-on and thorough experience that has given us a wealth of knowledge that we are excited to pass on to our customers and clients!

3 Days of Design

3daysofdesign is Denmark’s Official Design Festival, showcasing up-and-coming talent and established brands from around the world to an audience of design enthusiasts.

We had the amazing opportunity to travel to Copenhagen to connect with industry professionals and catch up with a handful of our brands in an immersive experience that spanned over three intense days.

Amongst the brands we visited were Le Klint, where we viewed new products, as well as exciting new additions to existing iconic collections. We were also lucky enough to witness a live demonstration of the hand-pleating process that Le Klint is renowned for, giving us a renewed appreciation for the skill that goes into the beautiful lamps on display.

We explored Muuto’s carefully curated showroom, where they exhibited their new releases, including the Rime Rail Lamp, Beam Wall Light, and Looped Wall Light. Muuto gave an in-depth talk on sustainability, highlighting the brand’s values and dedication to protecting the environment.

Clerkenwell Design Week

Clerkenwell Design Week provided us with an opportunity to engage with our brands, discover new products, and participate in specially curated workshops. We checked out the exhibitions throughout the streets of Clerkenwell, London, and took advantage of the opportunity to be updated on the latest news in the lighting industry.

Secto provided us with a hands-on demonstration of their sculptural new Adilo Pendant, we previewed Mater’s Terra Collection (a UK exclusive to David Village Lighting), and we browsed a handful of our brands' showrooms, including Bert Frank, J. Adams, and Dusty Deco.

Our business developer, Jack, joined the [d]arc thoughts Residential Lighting Panel to discuss the evolving role of lighting in high-end domestic settings, as they explored the way lighting can soften, shape, and reimagine the space.

2025 has been an eventful year here at David Village Lighting, and we can’t wait to see where 2026 takes us! We are looking forward to discovering new products to share with our clients and customers, but until then, we want to wish you a merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
