The Opal pendants collection was originally designed in the 1950s by Danish Designer, Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen. As the name suggests, each pendant in the Opal collection has an opal glass diffuser. Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen chose to use opal glass in his designs due to the warm glow it creates when lit. The soft matt finish on the opal glass is created by sandblasting the outer layer of the glass to create a smooth finish without reflections.
There are three pendants in the Opal collection which have been hand picked by Warm Nordic to join their lighting range as a celebration of iconic Nordic design.
