Mater Ocean

The Ocean collection by Mater is a range of sustainable furniture, these pieces were originally designed in 1955 by Jorgen and Nanna Ditzel, but utilised metal and plywood. Mater has reimagined this design and evolved it to sit a modern audience, these new releases are crafted from recycled waste - more specifically recycled fishing nets, plastic and discarded beer kegs. The sustainable ethos of these tables and chairs is aiding in the war against sea pollution.

Each furniture piece in this collection is lightweight and effortless to transport, they can also be easily disassembled, allowing each product to be fully recycled at the end of its lifespan. Ocean can adapt to a range of settings and remains functional in both residential and commercial environments, thanks to countless testing by Mater all of these products can also be used both indoors and outdoors.
