Mater Ocean Lounge Table

The Mater Ocean Lounge Table was originally designed in 1955 by Jorgen Ditzel and Nanna Ditzel. Mater has rereleased the design for a more contemporary audience, updating the materials used in production to reduce pollution. Each table is crafted from recycled fishing nets and hard plastics to prevent pollution in the world’s oceans. The Ocean Lounge Table has been designed to be recycled at the end of its lifespan, as all pieces can be disassembled into its separate components.

The Mater Ocean Lounge Table is suitable for use both indoors and outdoors, but they are best suited for alfresco locations. They can be displayed with other pieces from The Ocean Collection to create a striking and cohesive display either in domestic settings such as a patio or in commercial settings such as a café garden. One Ocean Lounge Table uses 1200g of ocean plastic waste, making it an eco-friendly, contemporary dining solution.
