Marset Plaff-on!

Marset Plaff-on! Collection is a family of glass ceiling, wall, and pendant lights by Joan Gaspar. The design is built around a simple opal blown glass diffuser held within a lacquered aluminium structure, with the glass appearing slightly detached from the ring around it. This small gap is what gives Plaff-on! It's a recognisable effect, allowing the light to pass through the diffuser while creating a soft halo around the fitting.

The Plaff-on! range includes ceiling and wall lights in a few sizes, with either integrated LED or replaceable E27 lamps depending on the version. The smaller fittings make sense in tighter areas such as bathrooms, hallways, entrances, and low ceilings. The 33cm and 50cm sizes have more visual weight, so they sit better in bigger rooms, shared spaces, and commercial interiors. There is also an outdoor wall version, mounted at a right angle to the wall so the light falls mainly downwards over paths, porches, patios, and seating areas.

Plaff-on! is also available as an IP65 LED pendant, bringing the same glass-and-aluminium design into a more direct suspension format for indoor or outdoor use. Across the range, the Black and Rust Brown finishes give a stronger outline, while White is available on selected versions for a cleaner look. Most suited to bathrooms, hallways, kitchens, entrances, patios, terraces, covered outdoor areas, restaurants, hotels, and spaces where a simple glass light is needed with a soft, practical output.
