Marset Dipping Light

Marset Dipping Light Collection brings together Jordi Canudas’ layered glass lighting series, built around glossy blown glass globes finished with rings of painted colour. The collection began as an experiment with dipping a lit bulb into paint, allowing each layer to filter, soften, and colour the light. That simple process gives Dipping Light its recognisable shaded effect, with each globe working as both a light source and a coloured object in the room.

Across the collection, Dipping Light is available as table lamps, portable lamps, pendants, wall lights, and ceiling / wall fittings. Smaller versions work well for bedside tables, shelves, hallways, and intimate seating areas, while the larger pendants and table lamps bring more presence to dining spaces, living rooms, entrance areas, and hospitality interiors. The finishes range from clearer colours such as White, Green, and Amber to deeper or more muted tones including Burgundy, Chocolate, and Cream.

The Dipping Light collection is well suited to interiors where light, colour, and decorative form need to work together without feeling overdone. Use a single fitting as a small focal point, repeat wall lights through a corridor, place a portable version where flexibility is useful, or group pendants over a table or counter.
Starting as just a table lamp in two sizes, the Dipping Light enjoyed huge success upon its release, winning many awards and creating a huge buzz for Marset. The brand has now expanded the design to include wall lights, a pendant, and a portable lamp - so the design can be enjoyed all around the home.
