Lodes Spider

Lodes Spider is a collection of adjustable LED lights by Andrea Tosetto, inspired by the human eye and its ability to look in different directions. The spherical steel body has a compact form, with a convex glass lens framed by a thin chrome-plated aluminium ring. The lens provides direct light without glare, while the adjustable diffuser allows the beam to be directed towards particular objects or areas of a room.

Spider was originally introduced as a pendant, with the option of grouping several lights using Lodes' cluster canopy systems. A ceiling-mounted version followed in 2022, keeping the same spherical shape and adjustable diffuser. The ceiling lights can be installed individually or in groups, with each one directed towards a different area of the room. Both versions are available with warm LED light sources.

Spider is available in a range of metal finishes, including Matte White, Matte Black, Matte Champagne, and Terra, with further finishes offered for the suspension version. The collection combines directional illumination with a compact decorative form. Best suited to living rooms, dining areas, hallways, and spaces requiring focused light, including display areas and commercial interiors.
