Lodes Spider LED Ceiling Light

Lodes Spider LED Ceiling Light was designed by Andrea Tosetto and introduced in 2022 as a ceiling-mounted version of the Spider suspension. Inspired by the human eye and its ability to look in different directions, the compact spherical body is made from steel, with a thin chrome-plated aluminium ring surrounding the convex glass lens. The lens provides direct, glare-free illumination, while the adjustable diffuser allows light to be directed towards a particular point in the room.

Spider can be rotated through 355° and tilted by 38°, giving control over the direction of the LED beam. The integrated light source offers a CRI of 90 for natural colour rendering. The ceiling version operates directly from a 220–240V supply and supports TRIAC dimming, allowing the light output to be adjusted.

Available in Matte White, Matte Black, Extra Matte Champagne, and Terra Extra Matte, Spider retains the same compact form across all four finishes. The ceiling light can be installed individually to illuminate a particular object or arranged in multiples to direct light towards different areas of an interior. Best suited to living rooms, hallways, kitchens, reading areas, and spaces where adjustable directional lighting is required.
