Artemide Tolomeo

The Artemide Tolomeo was designed by both Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina in 1987, as a reinterpretation of the lighting used in factories during the age of Industrialism. The collection began as a desk lamp but has now grown into the largest collection of lights we stock. Both flexible and functional, the Tolomeo is one of the world's most iconic designs. The combination of the cantilevered arm and the weighted base ensures smooth movement and a precise distribution of light, perfect for a multitude of spaces.

The lights in this collection can be adjusted and the structure holds stable in every position. Thanks to this functionality and to the design's minimalist elegance, the success of the Tolomeo lamp has never failed even after more than thirty years. The Tolomeo has won various design awards over the years, including the iF Product Design Award, the Red Dot Design Award and the prestigious Compasso d’Oro.
