Artemide Slicing

Designed by BIG, the Slicing Collection echoes the iconic Gople silhouette, scaled into different dimensions and proportions to create a new outdoor collection for Artemide. BIG is renowned for utilising simple designs to produce innovative lighting solutions that enhance our everyday lives. This approach to design is beautifully reflected in the Slicing collection. Each piece is defined by the overlapping slats that make up the lamp’s shade. These metal slats conceal the integrated LED light source while giving the lamps a strong, architectural presence.

The Slicing Collection includes a suspension, available in three sizes, and two floor lamps. With an IP rating of 65, each piece is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. When switched on, the horizontal slats guide light downwards for a glare-free, ambient glow. This warm lighting is perfect for lighting a pathway or creating a cosy ambience in a garden. The sleek, contemporary design also suits hospitality settings such as a patio area at a restaurant or bar.
