Warm Nordic Lightsome Floor Lamp

The Lightsome Floor Lamp was designed by Danish designer Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen in 1959. Its metal frame balances elegantly on a three-legged stand. Like many of his designs during this era, The Lightsome features decorative metal detailing. A brass stem connects the shade with the frame, adding an ornate element to the structure. Small grooves around the shade not only add a touch of detail but also allow light to filter through, creating a delicate pattern on the shade. The wide shape of the shade allows light to disperse around the lamp, filling the room with light.
