Raku Portable Table Lamp by &Tradition

Created by Sebastian Herkner, the designer delivers his unique penchant for producing objects using artisanal skills and authentic materials to create a societal artefact. Inspired by the traditional Japanese pottery technique Raku, this table lamp features a gorgeous ceramic base with a crackle glaze that is intrinsic of the style. Herkner pairs this base with a smooth metal lampshade, updating the aesthetic to create a contemporary table light.

The Raku portable table lamp comes in two colour combinations, beige grey & bronzed and blue green & brass, which both reference Japanese and Scandinavian style. The lampshade also features a beautiful, perforated edge which allows the light to escape and spread out for a warm ambience. With an IP44 rating, the portable light can be carried around inside and outside in calm weather conditions. The Raku lamp has a three-step dimmer and can last for 11 hours when fully charged and used on the highest light setting.
