&Tradition Herman Table Lamp

Designed by Signe Hytte, the Herman Table Lamp is a tribute to the classic Danish author, Herman Bang. The beacon of light that the lamp offers reflects its formidable namesake, who was known to shine a light on issues within society that were otherwise ignored. Reminiscent of lamps that Herman Bang would have written by, the lamp offers a timeless design that suits both classic and contemporary decor.

The Herman Table Lamp is crafted from an opal glass shade, a walnut stem, and a cream marble base. The carefully considered selection of materials brings a visual interest and a tactile richness to the design. When illuminated, the glass shade diffuses light, which radiates through and beneath the lampshade, creating a cosy atmosphere. Display at a bedside, in a reading nook, or in a living area to add a sense of tranquillity to the space.
