Tom Raffield Verso Portable Lamp

The Verso Portable Lamp features a striking asymmetrical frame that appears different depending on the angle it is viewed. This ornate structure strikes a perfect balance of form and function. Inspired by falling leaves in the wind, the looping timber petals convey a sense of movement and calm. Each lamp is handcrafted in Tom Raffield’s Cornish studio using sustainably sourced oak or walnut. The organic-looking curves are achieved through steam-bending, an age-old process that Tom Raffield is renowned for.

The Verso Portable Lamp features an integrated dimmer on the lamp’s base. Simply hold down the button to dim to the desired lighting level. The rechargeable battery can be charged using the supplied USB-A to USB-C cable. When using the supplied bulb, the 3-4 hour charge time provides between 8- 144 hours of light depending on brightness. When illuminated, the sculptural frame creates an eye-catching display of light and shadows. Pools of light are cast through gaps in the shade, surrounding the lamp in patterned rays. The Verso Portable Lamp produces a warm ambience that can be used to create a cosy sanctuary wherever required in the home, such as a bedroom or lounge.
