Tom Dixon Whirl Burst LED Chandelier

The Tom Dixon Whirl Burst LED Chandelier was inspired by the Optical Art movement, using distorted patterns to create optical illusions. The spiralled forms on each shade create layers of abstract patterns, confusing the eye through a myriad of internal reflections. The Burst Chandelier features twelve beautifully abstract polycarbonate shades, each housing an LED module within.

Each chandelier is crafted in a state-of-the-art factory in Germany. The polycarbonate shade is produced using injection blow moulding, resulting in a lightweight and durable shade. During the vacuum metallisation process, a thin layer of metal is deposited on the interior of the shade, offering a semi-metallised finish. This dazzling finish is available in two colourways, Gold or Silver.

The Whirl Burst LED Chandelier is a bold statement piece that draws the eye and captures the imagination. When illuminated, light is reflected from within, creating a mesmerising play of light and shadows. These ever-changing reflections bring a sense of life and movement to the chandelier, appearing differently depending on the angle it’s viewed.
