Santa & Cole Maija 15 Table Lamp

A lamp that knows how to be functional and intimate, Santa & Cole have re-edited the Maija 15 table lamp, a Finnish classic from 1955 designed by Ilmari Tapiovaara. The designer wanted to evoke the lighting atmosphere found in Baltic cities, where street illumination is scarce and most artificial light comes from house or shop windows. He created a honeycomb-style lampshade constructed from metal discs, which allows the light to escape in an ambient way for a soft, inviting glow.

The Maija 15 table light is available in an elegant white finish and is equipped with a dimmer switch on the cable so you can create the perfect atmosphere in your interior. Use on tables, desks, shelves, side tables and more to create a beautiful pocket of light.
