Marset Fragile LED Table Lamp

Marset Fragile LED Table Lamp is a glass table lamp by Jaume Ramírez, shaped from simple geometric forms. A cone and sphere are arranged around a central cylinder, with the light emitted from below and diffused through the glass. The design refers back to older table lamps, oil lamps, and candlelight, but keeps the form clear and pared back.

The glass structure leaves the light source visible, which is part of what gives Fragile its character. Rather than hiding the working parts, the lamp shows how the base, shade, and cylinder sit together. Translucent has the cleanest and lightest appearance, while Amber gives the lamp a warmer tone even before it is switched on. The warm 2200K light makes it better suited to softer evening use than bright task lighting.

Fragile is a plug-in and includes an in-line progressive dimmer, allowing the light level to be adjusted from low ambient light to a brighter setting. It works well on side tables, shelves, bedside tables, consoles, and restaurant or hotel surfaces where a small table lamp can add a warm glow without taking up too much visual space. Most suited to bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, dining spaces, hotels, restaurants, and bars.
