Louis Poulsen Yuh Table Lamp

A lamp with a background, the Louis Poulsen Yuh Table Lamp was designed by GamFratesi, a duo of architects, based on thorough research on the iconic Danish designers Poul Henningsen and inspired by Arne Jacobsen. The Yuh takes some of its elements from the AJ lamp; the geometry of the shade, the angle and the alignment with the floor give it a bit of a sculptural or even architectural component.

The Yuh is meant to be personal; it's flexible so that you can adapt it whichever way you want. You can incline, rotate, raise, or lower the diffuser and using a built-in dimmer, you can adjust the brightness to your liking. The angle of the diffuser can be adjusted to direct the light where you need it, while a slim opening at the top allows for some light to escape and illuminate the lamp itself. The Yuh Table Lamp is available in an all-black or all-white finish with an aluminium base, while the white/brass or black/brass finish option comes with a matching colour marble base. Dimmer and switch are located at the top part of the tube, which can also act as a timer function to turn the light off after 0hrs/4hrs/8hrs.
