The VL45 Radiohus pendant was originally designed in the 1940s by Vilhelm Lauritzen in partnership with Louis Poulsen. The pendant was made for use in the Radiohuset building in Copenhagen which now houses the Royal Danish Academy of Music. The lampshade has gorgeous rounded lines and is made from 3 layers of glass. The top and bottom layers are transparent and the middle one has a white finish, creating a warm and soft glow.
The pendant light completely conceals the light source, producing a glare-free illumination that is effective and cosy. The VL45 Radiohus pendant light is available in 3 sizes, Ø175, Ø250 and Ø370, and can be used for many functions. Use in kitchens, dining areas, lounges and bedrooms in both homes and professional spaces. Use one pendant lamp alone for smaller rooms or mix and match sizes to put in rows or clusters to create a chic light feature.
