A warm and inviting lighting solution designed by Sofie Lefevre in 2023, the Design For The People Takai Wall Light utilises a fabric shade and burnished brass body. The contrast of these two materials creates a striking object for residential and commercial spaces. Lefevre was inspired by the brutalist style of architecture, which focuses on materials, textures and tactility, when designing Takai, which can be seen within the subtle metal detailing.

The light source is diffused through the textile shade whilst also subtly escaping through the top and bottom, the result is a more even dispersion of light that adds a comforting glow to your interior.
