A combination of functional lighting with soft, delicate design, the Design For The People Takai Pendant consists of a large multi-layered beige textile shade with burnished brass detailing. Designed by Sofie Lefevre, who found her inspiration within brutalist architecture, this soft pendant light with a beautiful shape invites you to look at it from many different angles. The concealed light source sits within the shade and is effortlessly diffused into the room; the result is a warm and inviting glow, perfect for dining areas, living rooms and workspaces.

The Takai Pendant can be dimmed to further personalise the intensity of the lighting output, while it can be suspended up to 300cm from the ceiling to personalise the ambience for your environment. This application can be used independently, yet the simple design and cosy lighting make the lamps in the Takai collection easy to combine if you want a cohesive lighting concept in your home.
