Yanzi 1 Suspension by Artemide

The Yanzi 1 is an open system, a lightweight composition that will bring tranquillity sand light into any space. Neri & Hu, the designer duo behind the Yanzi Collection, believe that research is a tool for design. Inspired by the birds resting on scaffolding, the Yanzi is an amalgamation of refined yet essential, cold and warm materials. The 'swallows' of the Yanzi lights, either rest freely or are restricted in glass cages.

The various balanced structures, depicting branches or perches, offer support to the resting 'swallows'. The avian figures have a brass, minimal body and a glass sphere head through which light is diffused. A unique, almost poetic design that will animate any interior and can create poetic landscapes. The Yanzi Collection includes a floor and table lamp and another suspension.
