Artemide Shogun Table Lamp

Designed by Mario Botta in 1985, the Artemide Shogun Table Lamp is full of character and geometric shapes. Shogun has two adjustable diffusers that overlap each other and can be easily moved to alter the lighting output. The diffusers are made of perforated steel; by adjusting them in different configurations, you can create your own unique atmosphere.

Mario Botta creates anthropomorphic designs, as with the Shogun, and believes that lamps need to be a visible and functional artefact in any room. This table lamp boasts a stripped black/white body, further adding to its edgy character and allowing it to adapt to a variety of contemporary interiors. Shogun has become a classic for the brand and even won the Twentieth Century Design Collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
