Designed by Mario Botta in 1985, the Shogun table lamp is full of character and geometric shapes. Shogun has two, adjustable diffusers that overlap each other. The diffusers are made of perforated steel; by adjusting them in different configurations, you can create your own unique atmosphere.

Mario Botta creates anthropomorphic designs, as with the Shogun. Botta believes that lamps need to be a visible and functional artefact in any room. The table lamp has a stripped black/white body, further adding to its edgy character. Shogun won the Twentieth Century Design Collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
