Artemide Meteorite Suspension Light

Artemide Meteorite Suspension Light takes the same double-layer artistic glass diffuser and lifts it into a suspended form. Designed by Pio and Tito Toso, the diffuser is handmade using the mould-blowing craft technique followed by grinding, with a surface that recalls the age-old Murano art of battuto glass.

Because it hangs free in the room, this version gives the textured glass more visual emphasis than the wall or ceiling fitting. The blown frosted diffuser and technopolymer lamp body keep the appearance light, while the three sizes allow the pendant to move from a smaller decorative point to a fuller suspended presence.

Artemide Meteorite Suspension Light is available in white, in Meteorite 15, Meteorite 35, and Meteorite 48 sizes. Awarded the Red Dot Design Award in 2015, it carries the same handmade quality through each scale while keeping the light soft and diffused. Best suited for dining tables, kitchen islands, bedrooms, and other interiors where a suspended light can provide a soft, diffused glow with a more tactile surface.

Please Note: the Meteorite 15 is IP44 rated, making it suitable to install in bathrooms (zone 1 and 2 only). The Meteorite 35 & 48 are IP20.
