Pio & Tito Toso are a design duo, consisting of two brothers, born in 1973 and 1971 in Venice, where they graduated in architecture in 1998. They mainly work in the field of architecture, but also in some areas of design, and have been collaborating since opening their studio in 1996. They have collaborated with a range of accomplished manufacturers such as Artemide, Vistosi, Foscarini and Luceplan.
The design duo have been awarded a variety of accolades, including the Red Dot Design Award 2015, Red Dot Design Award 2012, Good Design Award 2009, the I.Dot selection 2006-2007, and the Young & design 2005. Pio & Tito Toso have also exhibited their work at various exhibitions in Europe and the United States, and their work is displayed at the iconic MoMa of New York.
We try to create objects that are designed to last, that do what they are made to do quickly and efficiently.
